Intensive courses are a great idea when you may be off work for a set period e.g. over the summer.
As well as standard driving lessons, we also offer motorway lessons & Pass Plus courses for those new drivers. The Pass Plus courses helps you become a safer and more confident driver by encountering situations you may not have seen in your driving lessons. The Car
Learn to drive in a new Ford Fiesta!
Our car of choice for learner drivers is the new Ford Fiesta in White. The Fiesta is the most common car on the road and often a great choice for new drivers to purchase themselves after passing their tests.
We love that the Fiesta is easy and comfortable to drive, providing a great experience for our pupils. The car is a great size to practise turns and manoeuvres, without being over sized and making things more difficult.
You can always expect the car to be clean and ready to do for your lesson. There’s also temperature and climate control for all-year round weather.
The Test centre
The local practical driving test centre is in Shirley and serves the needs of the driving instructors in Solihull. The centre is located on the Stratford Road, at the roundabout with Union Road.
The location of the test centre provides some great real-life driving experience scenarios to test your skills are up to scratch! The Stratford road itself is often busy and there is a lot to look out for, including pedestrians and lots of locations for vehicles to join and exit the carriageway.

What do I need to start driving lessons?
To start learning to drive you must be of at least 17 years of age. You must also have a provisional driving license to get started. You will need to bring this with you on your first driving lesson. You can apply for your provisional online or by getting a form from the Post Office.
How often should I have driving lessons?
There is no right or wrong answer here but we recommend 2 hours a week to start making some good progress. You can have more than 1 hour per lesson and will often be able to improve your skills at a faster rate with longer lessons. However can be flexible with what works best for you.
Do I need to pass my theory test before doing by practical test?
Yes, in order to do the practical test you must of completed the theory test. We recommend starting to work on your theory test revision as soon as you start having lessons. Each practical lesson will give you a better understanding of the road and help improve you knowledge when it comes to the theory test.
Do you offer manual or automatic lessons?
We only offer manual driving lessons. If you pass your test for a manual license you are also able to drive automatic cars after.
Can I choose where I get picked up from?
We try to be as flexible as possible and are perfectly happy to pick you up from your work, college etc if it is in the local area. Please speak with your instructor to arrange suitable pickup and drop off locations.
Where is the nearest theory test centre?
The closest theory test centre to Solihull is located in Birmingham city centre. There are also test centres further away in Sutton Coldfield and Redditch. Find them all on the Government website for the driving theory test.
